Brenda J. Bacon is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Brandywine Living. Ms. Bacon co-founded the company in 1996.   

Ms. Bacon served as Chief of Management and Planning, a cabinet-level position under New Jersey Governor James J. Florio from 1989 to 1993. During President Clinton’s first term, Ms. Bacon was on loan to the Presidential Transition Team as co-chair for the transition of the Department of Health and Human Services.   

Ms. Bacon is a board member and past chairman (2013-2015) of the Board of Directors of Argentum (formerly the Assisted Living Federation of America) where she advocates on behalf of the senior living business and the families they serve.  

Ms. Bacon is an independent director of two NYSE Boards. She was elected by the shareholders of FTI Consulting (NYSE: FCN) in 2006.  FTI Consulting is an independent global business advisory firm dedicated to helping organizations manage change, mitigate risk and resolve disputes: financial, legal, operational, political & regulatory, reputational and transactional.  She serves as chair of the Nominating, Corporate Governance, and Social Responsibility Committee and serves on the Compensation Committee. Ms. Bacon was elected to the inaugural Board of Hilton Grand Vacations (NYSE: HGV) in 2017 when Hilton split into three public companies (Hilton, Hilton Grand Vacations, and Park Hotels and Resorts). She serves on both the Audit and Governance Committees.
