Started CPA firm – Martin Starnes & Associates CPAs P.A. in 1992, sold practice in 2011. The firm was recognized by Accounting Today magazine as “Top 100 Firms to Work For” for the last three years he owned the firm, ranking in the top 10 all three years.

Bryan joined Meridian Senior Living in January 2012 as the Chief Accounting Officer.  In September 2013, Bryan was named the Chief Financial Officer.  ALG Senior spun out of Meridian in 2016 and Bryan became CFO for ALG with that change.

Bryan is also an accomplished speaker, offering leadership and accounting training for the American Institute of CPA’s, NC Association of CPA’s, Argentum, ASHA, and various trade associations as well as continuing education programs at University of NC Charlotte, University of NC Chapel Hill, and Elon University.

Bryan has been married to Sandy Starnes for 37 years and has three children, eight grandchildren.
