Dana Scheppmann is a Senior Vice President for Capital One Healthcare. Dana joined Capital One in 2015 as part of Capital One’s acquisition of GE Capital’s Healthcare platform. Dana has served the healthcare real estate industry since 2011, working as an underwriter and portfolio manager, and now originator covering the Northeast. Her experience includes the structuring, underwriting and closing of over $8 billion in financings in key healthcare real estate segments, focusing on skilled nursing, seniors housing and medical properties. Her expertise spreads across various loan products and structures including first mortgages, subordinate debt, repositioning’s, conversions, construction, and bridge to Freddie/Fannie/HUD loans. Prior to joining the Healthcare Real Estate group, Dana graduated from GE’s development and leadership program (FMP) and worked in various accounting and finance roles at GE Capital. Dana earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance with an emphasis in Management from the University of Iowa, and currently serves as Vice Chair on the NIC Future Leaders Council.
