Edward W. Burnett is the Co-Owner and Managing Partner of Ciel Senior Living, which owns and operates senior living communities across the United States.

Prior to leading Ciel, Edward spent over a decade at Sunrise Senior Living, ultimately serving as Chief Financial Officer from 2014 to 2020. During his tenure, he helped orchestrate the 2013 sale of Sunrise to Health Care REIT and KKR, and subsequently led one of the most significant periods of new development in the company’s history. Earlier in his career, he held multiple positions within Bank of America’s real estate finance group.

Edward lives in Loudoun County, Virginia, with his beautiful wife, Erin, and their four teenagers. Outside the office, he is an avid golfer and pickleball player.
