Ryan is an industry thought leader, speaker, blogger and author. He serves on the national advisory board of the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing and is a Fellow for Nexus Insights, a think tank focused on new models of care and community for older adults. He publishes a consumer blog and other content at www.smartliving360.com and will soon release a consumer book, Right Place, Right Time: The Ultimate Guide to Choosing a Home for the Second Half of Life, with Johns Hopkins University Press. Previously, Ryan has served as a real estate private equity investor, executive at a leading senior housing company and board member for a not-for-profit senior living provider. Ryan is a graduate of Princeton University and the Stanford Graduate School of Business and lives in Austin, Texas with his wife and three teenagers.
