James Lydiard is Staff Vice President at CareMore Health, an innovative integrated health care delivery company and subsidiary of Anthem, serving over 200,000 members across 26 states. At CareMore, James leads the national business division responsible for bringing CareMore’s care delivery model into senior living communities. Known as the CareMore “Touch” Program, and filed through Anthem in their ISNP Medicare Advantage portfolio, the senior living community program provides benefits and care delivery to nearly 7000 members in 1000 senior living communities. The Touch team includes more than 150 Mobile Nurse Practitioners and Physicians, dedicated Case Management, Pharmacy, Podiatry, Clinical Coordinators (MA’s), and Phlebotomists spread across 7 states and 17 unique markets, and was CareMore’s first dedicated mobile care programs in 2006.
In this role, James’ accountabilities include P&L oversight, network strategy and development, product design, and analytics & reporting. He previously led development of the insourced Home Nursing and Therapy team, CareMore’s solution to an employed home health team, in areas where network contracting options presented very few partnerships. During his 10 year tenure at CareMore Health, James has also led sales and marketing for special needs plans.
From 2007-2010, James worked at United Healthcare, within the Evercare umbrella of products and services. As a Director of Business Development, James oversaw a sales and marketing team in 4 states for the western region. James earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from The University of Arizona and is a Heath Care Innovation Program Graduate from University of Pennsylvania.
