Jane Haskell, M.S. is an experienced LGBTQ+ advocate, organizer, and speaker demonstrating experience within both higher education and the nonprofit sector. She has led cultural competency training for students, staff, and faculty in higher education as well as for professionals caring for LGBTQ+ older adults across a number of disciplines. She also worked with the Transgender Emergency Fund of MA to create the first transitional housing program for Transgender and Gender Nonconforming individuals in New England, which has housed over 30 TGNB people since its inception. She currently is the Director of Collaborations with SAGE, Services and Advocacy for LGBTQ+ Elders, supporting 80 organizations across the country serving LGBTQ+ older adults.
Most recently, Jane worked for Empath Health in St. Petersburg, FL where she led the EPIC Generations program, a social support program for LGBTQ+ Older Adults. In the role, she hosted social events for the LGBTQ+ Elder Community, coordinated a Friendly Caller Program, and provided technical assistance to local agencies focused on advancing equity in the LGBTQ+ aging space. Jane lives in St. Petersburg, FL with her fiancé and their dog Pepper.
