Joe Velderman is a nationally respected leader in healthcare technology and aging services innovation. As Chief Strategy Officer at K4Connect, he leads enterprise strategy, market development, and cross-functional initiatives that accelerate the adoption of transformative technologies, including artificial intelligence, in senior living communities across the country.

Prior to joining K4Connect, Joe served as Vice President of Innovation at Cypress Living, where he led enterprise information technology, digital strategy, and innovation efforts across a continuum of care, including home and community based services, primary care, and a continuing care retirement community. During his tenure, he championed enterprise-wide digital transformation, enhanced cybersecurity posture, led workflow transformation and automation, and developed AI-driven support tools that directly empowered frontline caregivers.

Joe has always had an affinity for older adults and is passionate about developing and leveraging technology tools as a means for assisting them through the aging experience in a healthy and graceful way.
