This opening NIC Signature Session will kick off the conference with new groundbreaking NIC research in partnership with NORC at the University of Chicago. Prior research showed that, on average, older adults residing in a senior housing setting live longer and have better health outcomes. Learn about new research on the benefits for those specifically with dementia and related diagnoses who reside in senior housing settings as well as insights into the relationship between length of residence in a senior housing community and related health outcomes. Panelists will dive into the latest research findings to discuss implications for owners, operators and strategic partners.
