Joanne Pike, DrPH, is president and, as of 2023, the new CEO of the Alzheimer’s Association, the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s and dementia care, support, and research. Dr. Pike is leading the organization during a transformational period. Novel treatments for people living with Alzheimer’s are emerging, and equitable access—as well as reaching all those affected with education and support—has never been more important. With her progressive experience in social support and public health, Dr. Pike will address during her keynote presentation how the Alzheimer’s Association is working to improve everyday life for millions of people, caregivers, and families—especially during this pivotal period in Alzheimer’s research, with significant implications for public health and the treatment community.
