Registration Information & Rates

All attendees, speakers, and staff participating in the event must be fully vaccinated OR show proof of a negative COVID-19 test (Antigen or PCR) that has been administered by an accredited lab, pharmacy, or clinic no more than 48 hours prior to badge pick-up.

While it is recommended that attendees take a covid test before traveling to the event, covid tests will be available and administered by a professional onsite for $95.

Attendees who provide proof of vaccination and are paid in full by Monday, August 1, will receive their conference credentials in the mail in early September. If you are providing a negative covid test or are taking a test onsite at the conference, you will not have the option of receiving your badge in advance. Attendees who choose to take an onsite test at the conference will be charged $95.

  • Seniors Housing & Care Provider (Operator)

    Regular rate: $2,395

    Operator Discounts:

    • Operators who register 3-5 people receive an additional $100 off registration. For 6 or more, the discount is $150 each.
    • To receive the multi-operator discount, all registrants have to be registered in the same transaction. Your price will automatically adjust at checkout. NIC cannot retroactively apply this discount.

    Small Operators (less than 5 properties) – $1,895*

    *Please contact us at registrar@nic.org to receive a code to use during checkout. 

      Small Operator Discounts

    • Small Operators who register 3-5 people receive an additional $100 off registration. For 6 or more, the discount is $150 each.
    • To receive the multi-operator discount, all registrants have to be registered in the same transaction. Your price will automatically adjust at checkout. NIC cannot retroactively apply this discount.

    The Seniors Housing & Care Provider (Operator) rate is available to professionals whose current – primary business function is the active and direct day-to-day management of seniors housing and care properties.

     

  • Healthcare Provider

    Regular rate: $2,395

    The Healthcare Provider/Risk Bearer/Convener/Insurer rate is available to professionals of companies whose primary business function is the provision of acute care, care management (post-acute/LTC), or healthcare insurance.

    Professionals/Companies include but are not limited to:

    • ACOs
    • MCOs
    • Physician Groups
    • Hospital Systems
    • Transitional Care/Chronic Care Services
    • Healthcare Insurance Plans (Aetna, Humana, CareFirst)
    • MA Plans
  • Developer

    Regular rate: $2,995

    The Developer rate is available to professionals of companies whose primary business function is the development of seniors housing and care properties.

  • Capital Provider

    Regular rate: $2,995

    The Capital Provider rate is available to professionals of companies who provide debt and equity to the seniors housing and care industry.

    Professionals/Companies include:

    • Equity Investors (and agents)
    • Lenders/Debt Providers
    • Financial Intermediaries
  • Transactional Services

    Regular rate: $2,995

    The Transactional rate is available to professionals of companies who are actively involved in seniors housing and care transactions.

    Professionals/Companies include but are not limited to:

    • Debt and equity brokers
    • Real estate brokers
    • Stock/equity/debt analysts
    • Appraisers
    • Valuation advisors
    • Attorneys practicing transactional law
    • Accountants engaged in transactions

    Regular rate: $4,095

    The Non-transactional rate is available to professionals of companies who provide a product or service that directly supports seniors housing and care.

    Professionals/Companies include but are not limited to:

    • Technology – hardware and software suppliers, IT consultants
    • Medical records software suppliers
    • Non-durable goods suppliers
    • Durable equipment suppliers
    • Employment search firms (“head-hunters”)
    • Human resources – outsourcing companies
    • Construction companies (non-developers)
    • Security system providers
    • Architects
    • Interior designers/decorators
    • Group purchasing companies
    • Event planners
    • Marketing/sales consultants
    • Foodservice firms
    • Clinical consultants
    • Customer/employee satisfaction firms
    • Pharmacy companies

Registration Policies

Credit Card Payments
Registration payments may be paid by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express).

 

Check Payments
Registration payments by check will be accepted until August 1, 2022. Registrations submitted using the check payment option are considered pending until payment is received. To avoid cancellation, payment must be received within 7-10 business days of submitting online registration. In the event of cancellation, hotel rooms reserved at the NIC group rate may also be cancelled by NIC. Conference re-registration will be at the current registration rates. Conference credentials will not be mailed to anyone who has not paid in full by August 1. Please note that registrations purchased using company checks/credit cards can be cancelled by company personnel on your behalf.

 

Registration Cancellations
Cancellations must be submitted online via NIC’s event registration site or by email to registrar@nic.org.

Cancellations made on or before August 1 will be assessed a $295 administrative fee.

Cancellations made after August 1 will not be refunded.

 

Registration Replacement
If you are no longer able to attend the 2022 NIC Fall Conference and your company would like to replace your registration with another colleague, the original registration will be cancelled, and your company will be provided a code to honor the rate of the original registrant. Any replacements after August 1 will be assessed a $295 administrative fee.
