Register early to book a room at our host hotel: The Marriott Marquis Washington D.C.! 

Accommodations for 2024 NIC Fall Conference attendees can be made at any of the three hotels with conference room blocks.  

Once you are registered for the 2024 NIC Fall Conference, your confirmation email will detail how to book accommodations at the hotels. Hotel rooms will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, for registered attendees, through August 26, 2024, or until the conference block is full (whichever comes first). This is the only official way to book within the conference room block. NIC will never reach out to you separately to book a hotel outside of the four listed on this page.

Hotel Deposit and Cancellation: 

Please refer to your individual hotel confirmation email for additional information. The hotel confirmation will include details regarding the hotel’s specific cancellation and deposit policy.  

For reservations at the Marriott Marquis and the Westin the final date for cancellation without penalty will be Monday, August 26, 2024. One-night room and tax deposit will be required and processed on August 27, 2024. Deposits will be forfeited for no shows, and cancellations on or after August 27, 2024 

For at the Courtyard by Marriott and the Residence Inn all reservations must be accompanied by a one-night room and tax deposit at the time of booking. Deposits will be refunded for cancellations received on or before August 26, 2024. Deposits will be forfeited for no shows, and cancellations received after August 26, 2024. 

Hotel Room Block Policy:

Registration for the conference is required prior to booking lodging. Any hotel reservations in the NIC room block without a corresponding conference registration may be canceled by hotel/NIC without notice and subject to the deposit being forfeited. One (1) hotel room reservation can be made per registered attendee. 

Changes to Hotel Reservations: 

Please contact the hotel directly for name changes, arrival/departure changes, and/or cancellations. Please refer to individual hotel confirmation emails for additional information.
